"I Believe" is a song about hope and faith. God gave this song to
Karin and she faithfully wrote down the words and recorded the melody in her
hand held tape recorder. As her previous project, Crimson Red came to a close,
her thoughts turned to what the Lord had next in His plans. On September 11,
2001, tragedy struck in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. At that time,
Karin was living on Long Island, NY where many residents commute to New York
City and so the devastation hit very close to home. The following morning,
Karin awoke singing the song the Lord had given her nearly a year ago. The
words rang in her heart as she sang them in light of the recent events. She
knew at that moment that this song was for such a time as this. Karin immediately
called Donald Hatcher who had arranged most of the music on the Crimson Red project
and met with him the following day. By Friday they were in the studio recording
the song and by day's end, had completed the project. In addition to the single "I
Believe", the CD also contains a prayer and salvation message given by Karin.
The
CD is now in production and will be given to local organizations
and churches to hand out to those in need of comfort and salvation.
The song will hopefully be included on Karin's next CD which is
due out sometime next year.

1st verse
I believe, we can make it through this darkness
I believe, we can find our way back home
Can't you see, there is hope, we're not alone
Chorus
When the storms of life surround you
and you're fighting on your own
put your hope where hurt can't find you
just open up your heart...and believe
2nd verse
I believe, that this nightmare's nearly over
I believe, there is strength to see this through
Can't you see, there is hope, we're not alone
Bridge
Hold on, the fight is nearly over
Be strong, the day is almost here
When all is said and done, I know we'll see the Son,
Oh I know we'll overcome, cause I believe
3rd Verse
I believe, we can make it through this darkness
I believe, we can find our way back home
Can't you see, there is hope, we're not alone
